Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
ORDER REPEAT PRESCRIPTION ONLINE HERE
PATIENT NOTICE
The prescription telephone ordering line
will close on 28th June 2013. This is to ensure patient
safety and is in line with current thinking on good
practice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. You can
still order prescriptions:
1. ONLINE
2. BY DROPPING IN THE REPEAT REORDER FORM OR ANY QUERIES AT
THE FRONT DESK
3. POSTING YOUR REPEAT REORDER FORM TO US
Please remember to allow 48 hours for your prescription to
be collected as we cannot print emergency prescriptions at
the front desk.
If you wish your prescription to be posted out to you,
please provide us with a stamped addressed envelope at the
time of reorder.
Prescriptions take 48 hours to issue following
initial request and can be collected from reception.
Please note that you can also use the
Electronic Prescribing Service - ask your pharmacy for
details.
Please note that when private prescriptions are brought in
with a request for them to be changed to an NHS
prescription, the normal 48-hour rule will apply.
Prescriptions are unable to be changed immediately. If a
prescription is deemed by the prescribing consultant to be
urgent, please could you redeem the prescription at the
appropriate hospital pharmacy. If new medication is being
issued we will not issue more than one month at a time until
you have been established on this medication in order to
prevent expensive drug wastage in the event that the
medicine does not suit you.
