We know how important it is for you to speak to the right person as quickly as possible. Sometimes, requesting a GP appointment is not the best or quickest way to help meet your needs.

Did you know you can refer yourself to a number of local community teams without having to see one of our doctors?

District Nursing team

Will happily see you for wound care, stitch removal and ear syringing You can contact your local team on 0161 631 4774.

Health Visitors

For children under 3 years the health visiting team are available to offer advice on things such as first foods, feeding problems, development milestones, potty training or toileting concerns , minor illness, skin problems and thrush and much more.

There are drop in clinics at Swinton Gateway on Tuesdays 0900-1130 and at St Thomas Church Clifton Green on Fridays 0930-1130

Other classes available include:

  • Antenatal classes
  • Getting to know your baby course
  • Minor ailments and first aid course
  • First food courses

You do not have to see the GP book directly with the midwife by calling 0161 745 8028.
